Situated in the little hamlet of Hafod Ddreiniog, The Brynffynon is a traditional family run hotel in the tiny village of Llanwonno. Built in the 17th century as a small workmen's public house, its present owners whom purchased the Brynffynon in January of 2008 have endured to keep the rustic, traditional appearance whilst modernising key facilities to provide a warm, welcoming environment.
We have three luxury en - suite letting rooms renovated to an exceptionally high standard in a traditional yet contemporary style. The Brynffynon menu is driven by rustic, simple dishes, with the best ingredients we could find locally – and seasonal too a relaxed and charming atmosphere to make this the ideal spot for your wedding.
Always a good selection of real ales from all over the UK. We are a regular stockist of Grey trees brewery, Glamorgan brewery, Slaters and Celt brewery, Wye Valley and Tomos Watkin's. A popular pub with the CAMRA members and proud to announce our inclusion in the 2010 Good Beer Guide. We also stock a wide selection of bottled ciders - dry, medium and sweet, apple, pear, clear and cloudy, local and national. To compliment the fine flavours a selection of Welsh cheeses and local produce are available.
